Free Checklist for Print Specs in Adobe InDesign

Why does my printer keep rejecting my file?

This useful guide walks you through the steps of installing a Preflight Profile that in turn, will help you diagnose the issues with your InDesign file.

You will be able to quickly determine if your document follows these rules:

• No broken links

• All images must be in CMYK color mode

• All images must be set at 300 PPI (Pixels Per Inch)

• Bleed lines at 0.125 inches

• No unnecessary extension of color blocks or images beyond the bleed

• No overset (hidden) text

• No text beyond the margin (pink safety line)
